Frequently Asked Questions
Are these stuffed animals safe for newborns to sleep with?
Many are designed as cuddly companions but not all should be left in an unsupervised sleep environment for newborns. Follow safe-sleep guidelines: remove plush toys from a sleep surface once baby can roll or as recommended by pediatric guidelines. Choose breathable fabrics, avoid small detachable parts, and consider using the soother's sound feature while placing the plush out of the infant's airway.
How do I wash sound-enabled loveys?
Check the product instructions: many models have removable electronic modules so the plush cover can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. If electronics are not removable, spot-cleaning or surface washing is usually recommended. Prefer models that explicitly state machine-washable materials or removable sound units for easier maintenance.
Should I choose rechargeable or battery-powered soothers?
Rechargeable soothers save on batteries and are convenient for frequent nightly use, while battery-powered units can be handy for long trips or when charging isn't practical. Consider how often you'll use the soother, whether you want to avoid replacing batteries, and if the product offers reliable volume controls and durable buttons.
