Frequently Asked Questions
Are these playmats safe for newborns?
Most mats are designed for newborn sensory play such as tummy time and include high-contrast toys; always follow manufacturer age guidelines, use on a flat surface and supervise infants at all times. Check that small parts are secured and that the mat's materials meet safety standards indicated in the product description.
Can I wash the playmat in a machine?
Care varies by model. Many mats have wipe-clean surfaces or removable covers; mats with built-in steel rings or frames typically advise against machine washing. Review the product’s care instructions and remove rigid frames or electronics before cleaning.
Do included ball pits come with balls?
Some models include balls (the Aila+Aiden blush and gray versions state included balls), while others — like the Crisschirs 5-in-1 listing — note that balls are not included. Always confirm the product details if included accessories matter to you.
